THE INDIAN CAVE
La Reserva marina Cueva del Indio declarada como tal el 15 de febrero del 2015 es una cueva marítima ubicada en el Barrio Islote del Municipio de Arecibo. Esta cueva es bañada por las aguas turquesas del Océano Atlántico, cuyo valor se basa, entre otras cosas, en el contacto que el visitante puede tener con los petroglifos existentes, provenientes de los indios que una vez poblaron el área. Esta impresionante cueva esta rodeada de espectaculares acantilados que dan al Océano Atlántico. Cuenta con una impresionante importancia ecológica por la flora y fauna que habitan en ella.
The Cueva del Indio Marine Reserve declared as such on February 15, 2015 is a maritime cave located in the Islote neighborhood of the Municipality of Arecibo. This cave is bathed by the turquoise waters of the Atlantic Ocean, whose value is based, among other things, on the contact that the visitor can have with the existing petroglyphs, coming from the Indians who once populated the area. This impressive cave is surrounded by spectacular cliffs that overlook the Atlantic Ocean. It has an impressive ecological importance due to the flora and fauna that inhabit it.
